Cocreator Rant 101

It’s amazing, of all the many narratives we hear about biblical history, seldom do we hear about Jubilee.  What have you heard about Jubilee!?

As I SEE It, we need a jubilee including churches relinquishing all that silver & gold stored up for God only knows why.  Maybe it’s simply greed over good?

This is fascinating.  Imagine if only the wealth accumulated by purveyors of greed was used to create greater good for all #humanity.  Promote #Goodnotgreed.
As I SEE It, a jubilee for our times could counter the takeover of the U.S., aspiring more perfect union, by transnational corporate-owned politicians, courts, law enforcement & millionaires/billionaires.
Does your minister speak of jubilee or are they focused on building walls around abortion, homosexuality, immigration & guns.  So-called Christians do not hesitate to claim we must do God’s work by denying others (1) right of being Self, (2) control of one’s own body, (3) environmental safety and/or (4) gun safety.  Who’s terrorizing who?  What, are they bringing guns to backup their belief in the power of Jesus?  I ask:  Where is your faith?  What’s your choice: fear or faith?

On the historical level, the jubilee seems to be derived from the Sabbatical Year, which imposes a rest on the land every seven years; and to leave the fruits of the land to the poor and strangers, as it is written:

“Say to the people of Israel, When you come into the land which I give you, the land shall keep a sabbath to the LORD. Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in its fruits; but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the LORD; you shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard. What grows of itself in your harvest you shall not reap, and the grapes of your undressed vine you shall not gather; it shall be a year of solemn rest for the land. The sabbath of the land shall provide food for you, for yourself and for your male and female slaves and for your hired servant and the sojourner who lives with you; for your cattle also and for the beasts that are in your land all its yield shall be for food.  (Lev. 25:2-7 )
What a pity that we should have grown so far away from the very simplicity of the “good news of great joy for all the people.”

Why no teachings embracing practices to bring people closer to a life of love, joy & good will for all?

FEATURED:  “War On Debt”

Thankfully, it seems these folks have attempted a semblance of relief for the common good.

Fear creeps in quite easily, you think?  Even when we know, all works together for good, when we see the pronouncements of perpetual war, impending dangers, cyber-attacks & other imaginable & unimaginable atrocities, we rush to take actions in the name of survival, precaution &/or protection.  HURRY: You must get a year’s supply of freeze dried food is more believable when celebrities like Ted Koppel sounds the warning, you think?  And get an arsenal of weapons & your Bible, then you will really feel protected then, right?  On the other hand, if we accept God’s will it’s all good, right.  Then again, I actually heard a talk show guest say, in Genesis we are told to do God’s work means stop abortions, gay marriage, Iran & Muslims.

Oh, when will we study peace & love!?  #NoFear.  #SowLove.

A New Vision

“I set this prayer free to fly straight & true on one wing of effort & one wing of grace.” Amen.
